Ugh Monday

I know everyone hates Monday's, but seriously Monday SUCKS for me. I have work from 7-2. Then I have to frive about an hour up to Jacksonville for one class from 3-5:45 and then I have another class 6-8:45. So pretty much I wont be home until 10pm. I wish there was a fastforward button on life sometimes. Maybe I should look into that...could make me a millionare one day. ANYWHO last weekend was off the chain y'all! Me and the hubs went to a show in Orlando with my cousin and his gf Toni. That girl is sucha sweetie! So we went to this show Drip. It was a little weird at first. The room was in the back of an alley behind a Denny's. LOL. Creepppyyy. HOWEVER a few beers in....the show was MUCH more enjoyable.

Now I'm stuck at work...have I mentioned that I hate my job?? Bc I  for sure do. Can't complain though bc I have a job and it pays the bills...yadda yadda. I totally blew my diet over the weekend. All that hard work and I gained a pound in just one night! I almost wish I would've drank a wee bit more so I would've gotten sick and puked it all up, and then it would've been like the night never even happened! Oh well what can ya do?

Well, I'm gonna to try and make it look like I'm getting something done over here at work.

Is it Friday Yet?

Well well well...what do ya know. I'm at work and blogging. When else do I have time to?! Well let me tell you I don't. Between working full time, going to school 3 nights a week, and taking care of a slob my wonderful husband, and 2 babies (the pups) there just isn't enough hours in the day.

I've been running lately, and I feel awesome! I'm on week 2 day 3 of the C25K. Down 2lbs so far! I'm feeling stronger already. The C25K is a great program for runners just starting out, aka MEEEE! I downloaded the app and I'm in love. I don't even have to watch the clock it just tells me when to run and when to walk.

BUT then I get home and I'm all bored so I just have a "snack", and then I'm all like:

 

What can I say...I'm a work in progress. Baby steps Brittany....baby steps.

 I guess I should get back to work now. Hope y'all are having a swell day!

It's Been Some Time

Wow has it really been THAT long since I've posted on here? I guess time really does fly when you're having fun! Which I have had some fun in these past few weeks. Well first of all the hubs cousin Tricia came to visit! She cam all the way from NY to visit us. I think she was just happy to get out of 20 deg weather...did I mention it was 80 while she was here?? 80 IN JANUARY!? Yep that's FL for ya.
Anyways we ate a lot while she was here...I mean A LOT. And I did gain 2lbs =[ Boo me. We did however go to DISNEY!!! Her nor the hubs had NEVER been! 

The Disney Virgins!

So I had to be their tour guide. They have a new Fantasyland at Disney. Very cool. There's now a Belle's castle, and an Ariel ride. It was NOT cool that Splash Mountain was closed while we were there though. =/

 All in all it was a GREAT day! And I finally got Minnie ears with my name stitched in them!

Also....I bought a NEW CAR!!! Yessssir I did. The Fekete's are now the proud owner of a 2013 KIA Sorento LX. Her name is Betty. And she is perfect! I feel so proud of myself that I was able to pay down enough debt to get my credit score back up where it needed to be to get financed.  

On the down side of all my excitement I developed a massive ear infection. I had to take 2 days off from work...which is so not like me. It started in my right ear and after about 3 days I was finally starting to feel better. I even went to the gym! And then all of a sudden I woke up Friday feeling like a bus hit me! The infection went from my right ear and moved into my left ear, which was very weird bc I had been on all kinds of meds for this stupid infection. I did lose 4 lbs over the weekend from being sick. Total of 2lbs lost this month. Not what I wanted, but pretty good considering how much I've gone out to eat. Today I'm feeling MUCH MUCH better. Ready to get out of work and go running!!

2013

Hello 2013. You came around so fast! New Year's Eve was pretty lame for us. We stayed home and ate frozen pizza. I fell asleep at about 11:20...yep I'm THAT lame.
So for the new year I don't want to make a resolution because let's be honest...no one ever keeps them.
I would like to set some goals out for myself.
1. NO MORE EXCUSES. Whether it comes to going tot he gym, cooking a healthy dinner, doing homework, hanging out with a friend. You only live once...you shouldn't be making excuses.
2. Lose 40lbs. That would be my ULTIMATE goal this year. I'd like to show everyone that I can do it. I want to be a sexier wife for my hubs.
3. RUN! I want to run a 5k this year...without walking!
4. Complete home improvement projects, EX:paint the guest room and the guest bathroom, get new curtains, buy art!, get rid of the nasty wallpaper in the master bathroom....the list goes on.
5. Be an all around better person. Learn to have more patience with people. I'm a very nice person, but come on this girl is busy!
6. Get TAN by my new pool this summer...in my new slammin bod.

Can I just say WOW...where did this year go? Seriously fastest year of my life.

Here are a few things I accomplished this year:

-Lost 15lbs...not too bad....could've done WAY better

-Moved back to Palm Coast

-Married the man of my dreams

-BOUGHT our first home

-Traveled to Costa Rica

-Promoted at work

I could go on and on, but I don't want to sound conceited over here. What are some things ya'll accomplished this year?! Come'on don't be shy. =]

We also said goodbye to Christmas. We did pick up a few things the day after Christmas for next year! I can't wait to see them next Christmas and get all excited again!!!

My Step Dad bought us a new trash can...it's sad how excited I am for our new trash can. We also bought a new light for outside our front door. Hubs... please put that thing up! I hate using my phone to look through that thing I call a purse at night...THANK YOU =]

Christmas EVE

 I did however have a GREAT weekend! I got all my Christmas shopping done...which is good and all considering today is Christmas Eve. My family has always celebrated Christmas Eve...I guess it's a German thing. We get to open all our presents tonight! The hubs however does not like that, so I don't get to open his presents until tmrw...womp womp.

We went to a Jags game this weekend...and of course they lost. Look at this RV though it's totally WINNING!!
